Dolphin display

Dolphins are highly intelligent, social marine mammals known for their playful behaviour, agility, and strong communication skills. Belonging to the family of toothed whales, they are closely related to porpoises and larger species such as whales. In the wild, dolphins can be found in oceans and some rivers around the world, often travelling in groups called pods.

In this display, you may observe how dolphins use echolocation to navigate and hunt, emitting clicks and listening for echoes to “see” their surroundings underwater. They are also known for their acrobatic skills, often leaping above the water’s surface and riding waves. These behaviours are not just for entertainment—they play an important role in social bonding, communication, and survival.
